Vasilisa is a film director born in Kyiv, Ukraine, with a bachelor’s degree in audiovisual production from the Kharkiv State Academy of Culture. She has worked on the production of many TV series and advertising spots filmed in Kyiv.

Muir is a US Army lieutenant, machinist and graduate of Central Washington University with degrees in Russian and Spanish and recipient of a federal Boren Award to study Russian and Ukrainian language in Kyiv.
