IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING SUMMER AID

Summer aid is not included in your academic year award and requires separate processing. Summer Cost of Attendance is based on the session length. Summer term is the last quarter of the award year at CWU and typically funds are extremely limited by this time of year. To be eligible, you must enroll in a minimum of six (6) credits, five (5) for master’s candidates. Awards will be made based on your remaining eligibility within annual limits. Summer tuition is charged on a per- credit basis.

APPLY

To be considered for summer aid, a student must complete the following processes.

1. The student must have a valid FAFSA on file for the previous academic year. For example, for Summer Session 2011, a student must have a 2010 - 2011 FAFSA on file.
2. The student must have a CWU summer application available on the Financial Aid website.

2011 SUMMER COST OF ATTENDANCE

Summer tuition is charged per credit hour. Undergraduate class rate is $192 per credit and Graduate class rate is $244 per credit. Summer cost of attendance is based on 12 credits for undergraduates and 10 credits for graduates. Please review the Summer Session   website for tuition, fees, and payment information.  

Please note: You will not be eligibile for aid if you are enrolled in less than 6 credits (5 credits for masters).
