The Family Resource Center is part of the Family and Child Life program at Central Washington University. Faculty and students from the program staff the FRC and provide services to families in Kittitas County.
Director, Family Resource CenterAmy Claridge earned her BS in Psychology and MEd in Couple and Family Therapy from University of Oregon. She earned her PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Florida State University. She is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Washington. Amy collaborates with community partners to ensure that the FRC is providing services needed in the community. She also delivers services to families and coordinates the family-related research conducted through the FRC. Amy is a full-time faculty in the Family and Child Life program, is the coordinator of the Child Life program, and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in research, family therapy, child development, and parenting.
Undergraduate Student, Family & Child Life
Toni is a junior in the Family and Child Life program with a specialization in Child Life. She serves as our lead childcare provider during parent education classes. Toni also works at the Rainbow Room at the Early Childhood Learning Center. She serves as the club president for the Child Life club.
Undergraduate students in the Family and Child Life program volunteer their time to assist both the delivery of services to families, the development of new programs, and in the collection of family-related research.
