FIG: Forward in Grief is a combination support and educational grief group for emerging adults (18-30 years old) who have experienced the death of a parent(s). They must have lost their parent(s) when they were between the ages of 18 and 30. The group is designed for participants to learn about their unique grief in a safe place, practice reconciling their grief, and experience a little break from their grief through fun activities.
If you are interested in participating, please complete the sign-up form or contact Natalie Porter. Natalie, a graduate students in Family and Child Life, developed the program based on the findings from her master's thesis on grief in emerging adulthood, and the empirical literature in this area.
