Career Choices with CTE Teaching Certificate | Worksite Learning with CTE Teaching Certificate |
CTE Candidates must have 6000 hours of paid occupational experience in the area for which certification is sought. Documentation of this experience will be evaluated by OSPI
To obtain certification, career and industry professionals must complete both the CTE 310 and CTE 311 course series. Current teachers typically require completion of the CTE 311 series and Occupational Analysis/Safety course. However, required courses will be determined upon transcript evaluation.

Accepted applicants will be contacted regarding registration after May 1 for the summer session and August 1 for the academic year.
Cost of enrollment is $250 per credit, plus up to $70 in fees. Tuition is due within 60 days of enrollment. Fees are due one week prior to the first day of class. If a school district is paying, the office of CTE must receive a purchase order within 30 days of the student’s enrollment.
Students may withdraw before class session 2 for a full refund, and before class session 3 for a 50% refund. No refunds will be given after class session 3.
