Dr. Darci Snowden

Assistant Professor of Physics

Office: Science II 339

Lab: Science II 204
Contact: 509-963-2914 or snowdend@cwu.edu (prefered)

Educational Background:
B.S., Physics, Harvey Mudd College, 2004
Ph.D., Geophysics, University of Washington, 2010

Research Interest:
My science interest is in the fields of space physics, planetary science, aeronomy, and astrobiology.  My research focuses on understanding the interaction between Titan's upper atmosphere and Saturn's magnetosphere by developing numerical models to interpret data from the Cassini Spacecraft, which orbited the Saturn system from 2004-2017.
