First Year & Exploratory Advising provides essential advising support for incoming first year and continuing students who are exploring their academic major options. Advisors in this area will guide informed decision making and utilize student development theories and proactive advising strategies to support student’s educational goals. First Year & Exploratory advisors assist students to have a successful transition to the university, explore potential majors, and connect to vital resources.
