The Online Learning Commons provides peer writing tutoring services for all CWU-Lynnwood students. Tutors can work with you on any assignment for any class to help you build your academic writing and research skills. Tutoring is available via email or through the "Online Tutoring Course" in Canvas.

Email Consultations: Email consultations are available on a first-come/first-served basis by emailing your paper to onlinetutoring@cwu.edu. Email requests should include the following:

Name & Student ID
Campus & Major
Year of study (Junior/Senior)
Languages spoken
Course # and Professor

Canvas Consultations: CWU-Lynnwood students are automatically enrolled in an "Online Tutoring Course" in Canvas where "live" tutoring sessions are conducted through Bb Collaborate. If you are interested in receiving online writing help, please log into "Online Tutoring" under your Canvas course list for specific tutors' drop-in hours. If you prefer to schedule your visit ahead of time versus just dropping in, you can request an online appointment by emailing us at onlinetutoring@cwu.edu or by using our appointment request form at bit/ly/OnlineTutoringAppt.
