About the Call
The purpose of this event is to create a positive space for Queer Expression. Help us build and affirm Central's Queer Community, challenge traditional notions of identity, art, and the Queer Experience.
SUBMISSION ARE OPEN TO ALL ART, IN ALL MEDIUMS, FROM ALL CWU and ELLENSBURG ARTISTS!
A limited number of works will be chosen by the jurors for exhibition at Gallery 420 in Downtown Ellensburg May 30 – June 5, 2016. An opening reception will be held at the gallery during First Friday Artwalk on June 3, 2016.
Additionally, every entry received will be featured in a digital exhibition displayed during CWU Pride Week in SURC 137B starting May 30.

Awards
Awards will be selected by the jurors, including:
Best of Show ($500 scholarship or cash prize)
Inclusivity and Diversity Award ($200 cash prize)
Eligibility
Anyone from Central Washington University or the Ellensburg community may submit artwork for consideration.
Entries and Fees
Each artist may submit up to 3 entries total.
There is no fee required for entry.
Acceptable Works and Submission Files
For 2-D and 3-D works, please submit high-quality JPEG files (under 2MB). It is preferred that your images be 1920 pixels on the longest dimension. For audio and video works, please include a still image and a link to view your video or audio project online. Complicated installation procedures may require the artist to assist with installation.
Sales
Sales inquiries will be directed to the artist. It is not required, however, that accepted works be for sale.
Size Limitation
Work must be able to fit through the front door (81”x36”) at Gallery 420.
Insurance
Every precaution will be taken to assure that your work is handled with utmost care and respect during installation and throughout the run of the exhibition. However, it is the artist's responsibility to carry insurance, if they desire, for any of their works in the exhibition. CWU PRIDE and Gallery 420 will not be responsible for damage, theft or loss of any kind.
Hand Delivery of Works
Accepted works must be delivered directly to Gallery 420 on one of the following days and times:
12-2pm, Thursday, May 26
12-2pm, Friday, May 27
Calendar and Deadlines
May 9: Deadline for submissions
May 16: Artists notified of acceptance for exhibition
May 26-27: Delivery of accepted works
May 30: Exhibition opens
June 3: Opening reception, First Friday Artwalk
June 5: Exhibition closes
