Enrollment Management

Welcome to the Enrollment Management Division! This division includes Student Financial Services, the GameOn! program, the Office of Admissions, and Campus Visitation programs.

The division provides leadership for the implementation of Destination 2025, the university's strategic enrollment management plan. 

  • New Opportunity: Director of Financial Aid & Student Financial Services

In this role, you will be a key member of the Enrollment Management division, providing leading comprehensive programming that creates enhanced pathways to college and supports student success. We are seeking an exceptionally bright, organized, and self-motivated Director of Financial Aid and Student Financial Services to lead the department.

  • About The Position

    Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Management, the Director has primary responsibility for leadership, resource management, and administrative oversight of ensuring accurate delivery of financial aid to qualified students in a supportive and timely manner. The Director must ensure the proper administration of all federal, state, and institutional student financial assistance. The Director will be an active and visible leader both on campus and in the larger financial aid community. This position will require the use of skill and knowledge to analyze and exercise judgement in conducting federal needs analysis, verification, award packaging and processing of Title IV aid applications.  The Director will be responsible for providing updates in policy and procedures as it pertains to Federal, State, and institutional student aid funds. 

    The Director will require minimal guidance and supervision, manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, react with the appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, take effective action without having to know the total picture, and be skilled at anticipating problems. The Director will work to support benchmarks tailored to enrollment and organizational goals.

    A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the institution is important. A calm demeanor and good sense of humor are key. It is essential to have the ability to work successfully in a team environment and build effective working relationships inside and outside the division. In addition, exceptional written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, detailed planning, time management, and organizational skills are required.

CWU’s average class size is 20. The university holds regional accreditation through the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. Faculty are recognized regionally and/or nationally for collegiate teaching in mathematics, physics, geology, music, and chemistry.
