Scholarships managed through the CWU Scholarship office include:
The Central Safety Scholarship generally awards two $1,000 scholarships to CWU SHM majors in Ellensburg and two $500 scholarships to SHM majors at the centers. Application is due 1 March for the following school year.

The ASSE Foundation awards a variety of scholarships each year to students majoring in safety at colleges and universities around the country. Review the information for each scholarship for due dates and award amounts.
The job outlook for safety and health practitioners remains strong with an expected 8-15% growth through the year 2016 according to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, 2008-09 Edition published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.
The primary location at CWU to identify known job and internship opportunities is the university Career Services site. Many of these opportunities may also be reviewed on the jobs file outside Hogue Technology 211 and at the centers. Contact your faculty advisor for additional information.
The IET department conducts a career fair during fall quarter each year. A university job fair is held during spring quarter each year. Please visit the Career Services website for further information on these fairs.
