Those nominating Christine said:
For many students, Christina Denison, is the person who represents the Douglas Honors College (DHC) on a daily basis and is a source of stability and continuity. According to her nominators, the visibility of the DHC on campus and in the community is due, in large part, to Denison's efforts. Because of her involvement, the homecoming reception for DHC students and alumni was a great success. She handles logistics for the DHC, including its own advising and University 101 courses, trips to cultural events and honors conferences, student presentations, and guest speakers. She assists faculty by monitoring students' attendance of quarterly mandatory cultural events. She sends a list of students who aren't meeting their obligations to faculty, so students can be encouraged to fulfill their requirements. Denison is always prompt in completing her assignments, and her work is exceptional. She works closely with Enrollment Management, handles correspondence, and attends numerous events for prospective and existing students. She helps attract more exceptional scholars to Central and the DHC. She does a fair amount of recruiting, answering questions about the program for prospective students, and piquing their interest. The faculty and students in the Douglas Honors College believe that Denison is an integral part of the program.
