It was discussed that not all of the business cases that were pending last year at this time have come forward.
Continuing Education’s new software was discussed. EISC would like to have an update on the program.
Adrian’s question started discussion of what situations need to come as a business case and how do we sunset an older program that we discontinue? Business cases are needed for project of switching programs not only for new vendor business case information, but when we require IT resources for transferring or capturing data. Stuart is contact for contract question and Jill and Gene Shoda are IT question contacts.
DataMart / DataWarehouse Business Case was presented by James DePaepe. Consultant assistance is requested to get the implementation completed. Tina and Jim discussed adding the reference to the recommendations made from the consultant’s work he paid for back in July. Calendar in business case shows November 1st date, but cabinet will not have a decision made by that date. Business case recommended to go forward to the Cabinet.
Document Imaging Revised Business Case was presented by Adrian Naranjo. Plan is comprehensive but can be implemented in steps. The plan is not only to implement this going forward but also involves transferring past documents to electronic. Business case recommended to go forward to the Cabinet.
