These fund accounts have been established by our alums and friends to support the students and programs with the College of Education and Professional Studies.

Aerospace Studies

Aerospace Studies Program(general program support fund)
Donations are used to support the Aerospace Studies Program.

David Wyatt Memorial
Scholarship is awarded to Air Force ROTC students.

Patrick Welch AFROTC Scholarship
Is awarded to students accepted into the CWU Air Force ROTC cadet program.

Aviation

Flight Technology Program (general program support fund)
Donations provide support to the Flight Technology Program.

Homer Engleman Scholarship
Provides support to the Flight Technology Program with Special Industry/Safety Speaker, Student Club Conference Travel, Senior Wings Dinner/BBQ, and other programs determined by the Flight Technology Program Director.

Melinda Shawver Memorial Scholarship
Is awarded to full-time Junior or Senior students majoring in Flight Technology who demonstrate potential for becoming an aviation professional.

Education Scholarships

Albert E. Gerrtitz Memorial Scholarship
Is awarded to students majoring in Education with the intention of going into teaching.

Alfred & Genevieve Gallucci Endowment
Supports scholarships for full-time CWU students admitted to the Teacher Preparation program.

Beam Sunshine Fund

Berg-Albrecht Endowment
Supports awards to students pursuing a degree in secondary education.

Boeing Math/Science Ed Scholarship
Is awarded to students majoring in Teacher Preparation in Math or Sciences.

Bronwen Hatton Endowment
Supports scholarships for students majoring in special education.

Catherine Hall & Eric Tjossem Moe Endowment
Provides scholarships for teacher education majors.

Charles Wright Endowment
Supports scholarships for outstanding students in the Teacher Preparation Program.

Dohn Miller Endowment
Supports scholarships awarded to students majoring in special education.

Dyveke Maurer Memorial Scholarship
Is awarded to a transfer or returning CWU student majoring in a field of education.

Education Department Scholarship (general scholarship fund)
Is awarded to full time CWU students admitted to the teacher preparation program.

Education Week
Provides a five day program for outstanding students who show an interest in the teaching profession to learn about the opportunities and challenges of a teaching career.

Frances Kilkenny Peek Endowment
Supports scholarship for students majoring in teacher education and supports the College of Education and Professional Studies Dean’s Fund for Excellence.

Gladys H. Hart Scholarship
Fund supports scholarships for CWU students accepted into the teacher education program.

Homer Engleman Endowment
Supports the Flight Technology Program.

Jankowski Trust
Supports scholarships awarded to students majoring in education, preference given to elementary education students.

Jimi & Rudolf Vernie Endowment
Is awarded to students majoring in EMT, Early Childhood Education, or Pre-Medical Studies.

Joyce L. Johnson Endowment
Supports an award for students in teacher education.

Is a scholarship program to support convocations and conventions.

Is awarded to full-time students accepted into the teacher preparation program.

Margaret Loseth Westphal Endowed Scholarship
Is awarded to students admitted into the teacher education program with the intention of teaching in an elementary school.

Supports awards to students majoring in Teacher Preparation in Elementary Education.

Is awarded to an outstanding majoring or minoring in ECE.

Owen Pratz Endowment
provides scholarships full-time CWU graduate student finishing their first year in the Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling or Master of Education in School Counseling programs.

Supports scholarships for outstanding students in the teacher preparation program.

Is awarded to students majoring in teacher education.

Carolyn Schactler Endowment

Is awarded to a full time, upper division student majoring in Home Ec. Planning to pursue a vocation teaching home Ec.

Health, Human Performance and Nutrition Scholarship and Program Support

Buergel Endowed Scholarship
Is awarded to Dietetic Interns.

Excellence in Nutrition (general program and scholarship support fund)
Provides support for student scholarships and program enhancement such as equipment purchases, reassigned time for research and other scholarly activities, advisory board support, nutrition club support and other activities as needed.

John Shoudy Endowment
Supports scholarships for dietetic interns and provides funds for undergraduate food science and nutrition research and professional development of faculty.

Shoudy: Program Enhancements
Provides funds for faculty development and Nutrition Club activities.

Orchesis (general program support fund)
Provides funds for CWU’s performing dance group, Orchesis, and is used to promote dance on campus and within the community, promote Orchesis, assist with expenses with Orchesis concerts and presentations, and finance specific Orchesis projects.

Purser Paramedic Program Endowment (general program support fund)
Provides funds to support the paramedic program.

provides support to students majoring in Industrial/technology education, electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, construction management, industrial technology, or safety & health management

Boeing Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering Technology Scholarship
Is awarded to full time CWU students majoring in Industrial/technology education, electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, construction management, industrial technology, or safety & health management.

Boeing MET Curriculum Enrichment Scholarship
Povides support for the MET program.

Cast Metals
Supports travel to FEF to Seattle to pick up supplies and materials.

Construction Honor Society
Provides support for Construction Management functions and community service activities.

Construction Management Advisory Council (general program and scholarship support fund)
Provides support for the Construction Management program.

Construction Management Endowed Professorship
Provides support to establish the Construction Management Endowed Professorship.

Construction Management Endowment
Provides funds for CWU students enrolled in the construction management program.

CWU Foundry Fund (general program support fund)
Provides support to the Cast Metals program on the CWU campus.

Electronics Technology (general program support fund)
provides support for special student investigations. Homebuilder provides scholarships for members of the Homebuilders student organization.

IET Industrial Distribution Scholarship
Is awarded to full time student s majoring in Industrial/technology education, electrical engineering technology, mechanical engineering technology, construction management, industrial technology, or safety & health management.

IET Fund (general program support fund)
provides general Industrial and Engineering Technology department support.

Jeld-Wen Scholarship
Is awarded to incoming freshmen from the Yakima area enrolling in the Department of Industrial and Engineering Technology.

Jere Cary Scholarship
Is awarded to undergraduates who have been admitted to the industrial/technology education teacher program.

Manufacturing Technology Advisory Group
Provides funds to develop articulation agreements with schools in the state involved with MTAG (travel, release time, meetings).

MET Program (general program support fund)provides assistant to the program and in building relationships with the industry.

Owen J. Shadle Memorial Industrial Education Scholarship
Is awarded to students enrolled or intending to enroll in the vocational-technical trade and industrial major leading to a teaching degree.

Safety and Health Management Fund (general program support fund)
Provides safety and health management program support.

Safety Education fund (general program support fund)
Provides program support for the Traffic Safety and Industrial and Technology Education.

Solid Works
supports the solid works software program used in Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree.

T&IE Scholarship (general program support fund)
Is awarded to students in Industrial Distribution, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Supervision, or Building Construction Management.

Walter R. Kaminski Memorial Endowment (general program and scholarship support fund)
Supports scholarships for students majoring in mechanical engineering technology and/or funds for mechanical engineering technology majors to assist with the expenses of their senior project.

William and Jackie Wallace Endowment
Provides scholarship support for students who have been accepted into the Industrial Education Program.

Work Safe Endowment
Provides funds to establish Worksafe institutes.


Information Technology and Administrative Management

Eugene J. Kosy Scholarship (general scholarship support fund)
Is awarded to students with Junior or Senior standing and a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 majoring in Administrative Management, Business Education, Marking Education, or Fashion Merchandising.

Military Science ROTC scholarship and Program Support

Braden-Dodd M. ROTC M. Endowed Scholarship
Is awarded to CWU students enrolled in one of the campus ROTC programs to be used the year with senior standing.

Army ROTC (general program and scholarship support fund)
Provides funds for the program and merit-based scholarships to students in the Army ROTC.

Captain David A. Cratsenberg Endowment (general scholarship support fund)
Provides support for ROTC Army scholarships.

Linda Hayden Military Science Scholarship
Provides a scholarship for a student enrolled in Military Science ROTC program.

General College Fund

School of Professional Studies
Provides unrestricted funds for program and other support to the Dean of School of Professional Studies.

Kollmorgen Emergency Grants
Provides emergency support to full time students in good standing with a minimum 2.0 cumulative grade point average.
