Lead Toddler Teacher, Rainbow Center
I have taught preschool, first grade and kindergarten over the last 25 years! I have also been involved in many school and community groups concerned about providing better educational experiences for our children.
I have lived in Pennsylvania, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, Illinois and moved with my husband and 3 children to Washington in 1987. We raised our children on the eastside in Woodinville and Duvall and fell in love with Ellensburg on summer visits to the Yakima River. With our children on their own, my husband and I moved to Ellensburg in 2008 to enjoy the dry, sunny weather.

I believe that all children have the ability to learn and are interested in the world around them. They learn best by being allowed to explore and investigate in a safe, nurturing environment that provides many opportunities to expand their knowledge base. Children need adults to provide and encourage social peer interactions as well.
In my classroom children:
will be involved in play that is safe, fun, and educational as they interact with other children and staff.
Coming into my classroom parents will see:
children involved in a variety of activities that will include exploring the environment, playing with toys, singing and dancing, playing pretend with friends, learning about sharing and being a friend, as well as learning about colors, shapes, animals and the world around them.
My goals are:
to provide a fun, safe, and happy learning environment for the children each day.
