DHC and CWU Partnered with Germany to present EU Weeks

From November 6-17, 2017 the William O. Douglas Honors College and Central Washington University were proud to host

Germany and the European Union: The Future of a Success Story” - a two-week series of events dedicated to informing and debating about the past, present, and future of the European Union, and to opening opportunities for the students, faculty, and local community of central Washington to study, work, cooperate, and do business in Germany and the EU. The programming for this series was made possible through a generous grant by the the German Information Center USA and the Federal Republic of Germany.

All events were free and open to the public.

A dialogue on the future of the EU, featuring

  Klaus Botzet, Minister Counsellor, Head of the Political, Security and Development Section, Delegation  of the European Union to the USA
  Prof. Kurt Hübner, Jean Monnet Chair for European Integration and Global Political Economy,  University of British Columbia
  Nico Lange, Director, Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung USA


This exciting program was the culmination of the two week Germany and the European Union program. DHC and CWU were honored to host such prestigious guests, who spent the day on campus meeting with students and faculty prior to the evenings roundtable.
