The University has established policy and procedures to help employees with disabilities request services that help minimize or negate the effect of documented disabilities. These policy and procedures are in compliance with both the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Washington State Core Services Bill.

Disability Services, in collaboration with CWU Human Resources Representatives, is charged with helping employees understand their rights and responsibilities, facilitating supervisors' efforts to implement the university's policy and procedures and monitoring the accommodation plans set up for individual employees.
