How to Order
Establish a Format: Work with your client to determine the most appropriate format. Take into account the nature of the disability, individual preference and the content of the material being processed. Our Accessible Media Wizard may be beneficial in helping you determine which format best suits your student’s needs. If you have questions about specific formats, feel free to contact us.
Make your Request: Please fill out the Scope of Work Form for each book shipment you wish to submit to Central Access. The scope of work form allows you to specify details about the processing of your project.

Books are debound prior to processing. If you would like to have your de-bound books returned to you after processing is complete, there is a $5 per book shipping charge.
Estimate: When Central Access receives your books, you will be sent a confirmation email and estimate. Once we receive an email approving the estimate, we will begin processing your project.
Turnaround Time: The turnaround time for projects varies based on type of format, difficulty of material and date received. Most etext and PC audio projects are complete two-three weeks. Please allow more time for materials received immediately prior to, or after, the start of a new term. For last minute requests, materials can be hosted in installments, allowing for faster access.
Delivery of Accessible Media: Central Access will provide you with a user name and password that allows you to access your materials online.
