Disability Services (DS) at Central Washington University (CWU) was established to promotes the full inclusion and participation of people with disabilities at Central Washington University. DS leads the University community in its efforts to provide physical and programmatic access for people with disabilities in both educational and employment environments.
Academic Adjustments for students and ADA Accommodations for employees are determined on a case by base basis by DS staff. They are based on a request for services, disability documentation and the completion of the CWU interactive process.
Academic Adjustments for students designed by DS include, but are not limited to, early registration for classes, exam modification, accessible instructional materials, sign language interpreters, and volunteer note takers.
