Please list the names of two people who know your work as a teacher.
If you are applying for the $200-$400 scholarship, please read the following message and respond accordingly. (You are not required to apply for the scholarship in order to participate in the workshop.)Our scholarship funds are limited due to federal budget cuts. Because the research reveals that ongoing professional development impacts student learning and teacher practice, we will award scholarships first to those teachers willing to collaborate with other colleagues to implement and test the instructional materials developed during the Common Core workshop. We anticipate meeting online and face to face at school sites three to four times during the school year in grade-level and content-area groups to discuss student work and reflect on our instructional practices. Additional credits or clock hours will be available for this continued collaboration, and we are applying for funding to offer teachers additional stipends. If you agree to the stipulations above, please indicate below your interest in being considered for a scholarship.
