On Monday evenings, Central Washington University hosts Talk Time, a weekly gathering for international students and others learning English to practice speaking and learn about American culture.
Each evening has a topic to guide conversation. This Monday's: Thanksgiving.
"It's quite a tradition that you guys have," said Sam Lung, who has been involved in Talk Time since she was a Central student.
Lung, from Hong Kong, has celebrated Thanksgiving several times since she came to America as a foreign exchange student in Oklahoma, then later in college in Everett and Ellensburg.
