Saturday, Oct. 20 at Olmstead Place State Park
8:30 a.m.-1 p.m. or Noon-4 p.m.
Travel back into 19th century farm life through a 150-year-old farmhouse that has withstood the test of time. The Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) is collaborating with Olmstead Place State Park – a historic landmark right outside of Ellensburg – to help “preserve the past for the future.” Students will work in small teams throughout the park to maintain the grounds and the historic buildings.
The Center for Leadership and Community Engagement (CLCE) works to foster public awareness and leadership for important local and global issues. To volunteer or for more information, contact the CLCE by calling (509) 963-1850, emailing takeaction@cwu.edu, visiting www.takeactioncwu.com, or stopping by the CLCE office in SURC 256.
