Central Washington University is involved in a pilot program with the prestigious Hou Kong Middle School in Macau on the coast of China. The school begins teaching English and Mandarin at age 3 to students who speak Cantonese. Beginning in February, CWU students will travel to Macau and work with Hou Kong teachers and students for four months to learn their teaching methods.
