ELLENSBURG, Wash. — Central Washington University’s Central Theatre Ensemble (CTE) brings a bit of Broadway to Ellensburg with the Red Curtain Revue. Numbers will include scenes, solos, and excerpts from a variety of Broadway favorites, performed by students in the Bachelor of Fine Arts—Musical Theatre Performance program.
Many of the numbers will be staged completely by students, spotlighting their singing, dancing, and acting skills. It will also allow them to showcase their abilities as directors and choreographers.
The Red Curtain Revue will be performed at 7:30 p.m. November 30 and December 1 in the Milo Smith Tower Theatre. There will also be a matinee at 2 p.m. on December 2. Tickets are $10 general admission, $8 for seniors/students, and $7 for CWU students with ID. Tickets are available online at www.cwu.edu/theatre/tickets, by phone at 509-963-1429, and in person at the CWU Welcome Center and the Wildcat Shop Service Desk.
Parking is free after 4:30 p.m. and on weekends, excepted in specially designated spaces (handicapped, loading) or lots assigned to residence halls. For more information, call the Theatre Arts Department at 509-963-1750.
