CWU invites Ellensburg families with children (pre-school to fifth grade) to the 27th Annual Boo Central event for a safe, fun and inclusive Halloween experience on October 31 in the SURC Ballroom. From 5-7 p.m. tiny Disney Princesses, Minions, and superheroes can join up to 40+ of CWU's clubs and organizations for a night of trick- or- treating and activities. ? The event will feature Halloween inspired games, activities, candy and more! Parents are also encouraged to dress up and join the fun as well.? National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) – observed every October – was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure every American has the resources, they need to stay safer and more secure online. In support of this effort, CWU’s Information Security Services department is collaborating with a professor at Central to present on identify theft. This workshop will delve into recent data breaches, how they happened, and how to prevent your own personal data from being compromised.

Tips from this session will help:
-improve your well-being and resiliency from stress and anxiety
-skillfully meet difficult emotions and beliefs in daily life
-access an inner resource of well-being, ease, security and peace.

To create a quiet and comfortable space you should consider bringing: 
-yoga mat
-blanket (or other comfort items)
-pillow
-eye covering (sunglasses or sleep mask)
-comfortable clothing

This fall, starting on September 28th, Huffman Farms will be open every weekend through October 27th offering a variety of attractions and events for guests of all ages. Attractions include a free petting zoo and hayrides, a haunted forest and corn maze, home-cooked meals and more. Huffman Farms is located at 6181 Wilson Creek Rd, Ellensburg, WA 98926. Soon after getting the doll, a series of violent acts ensues. Detective Mike Norris investigates and slowly uncovers the doll's sinister nature. Do the time warp and experience the live production of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show” on Friday, October 25th at CWU in the SURC Ballroom. This annual performance features a student shadow cast reenacting the cult classic as it plays on a screen in the background. If you think you’ll get off the hook by just sitting and watching the action, think again. Early arriving audience members will receive goodie bags with all necessary provisions like toast, finger lights, a rubber glove, a script for call-outs and rose petals so you can interact with the cast and immerse yourself in the show! Anyone new to the Rocky Horror experience can expect good humor, profanity and an outstanding time. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the movie starts at 10 p.m.
