Free document shred and drug take back day for local residents. Sorry not for business offices. Hosted by RSVP and Volunteer Center and the Kittitas County Sherriff Office. Sponsored by the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner SHIBA Program. Each person may bring two large sacks or bags per person to be shredded. Law enforcement on hand to assist and answer questions about fraud, ID theft and scams.

Fall Fair recruitment is for upcoming graduates and for students seeking job, internship and graduate school opportunities. Companies and agencies will recruit for all academic disciplines. And don't miss the Education Abroad Fair taking place downstairs in SURC 137.


Be prepared! Below is a list of a few things you can do to become that stand out candidate recruiters are looking for.

  • Have your resume reviewed by Career Services professionals. For drop-in times, check here.
  • Upload your resume to your Wildcat Career Network account and add it to the fair book for recruiters to see before the event.
  • Attend career fair prep workshops.
  • Research employers and see what positions they are recruiting for here (after registration opens)

These unique networking and professional development events provide an opportunity for chamber members and business owners to gain knowledge about issues facing the business community from local, state, and federal levels as well as topics on social media marketing, website design, and other important information for businesses.
About this month's presenter...
Sheri Bay from Swift Water Marketing will discuss the world of digital marketing and how to get the best bang for your buck. She will examine the best techniques for website design and social media marketing and introduce attendees to tools used to measure these resources for their effectiveness.

Caring for someone with memory loss? Do you need information and support? Alzheimer’s Association family caregiver support groups provide a consistent and caring place for people to learn, share and gain emotional support from others who are also on a unique journey of providing care to a person with memory loss. Meetings are held the 3rd Wednesday of the month, 1:00- 2:30pm, at Cle Elum Adventist Church, 115 E 2nd Street, Cle Elum, WA 98922.
