Central Washington University Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) was spotlighted on the society’s national website, www.prssa.org/news/chapter/news/display/1230. In preparation for the fast approaching school year, the CWU PRSSA created a new word graphic to reflect their values and goals.
“We have a great and dedicated executive board and we can't wait to start ramping up CWU PRSSA on a national level and creating a concrete brand for ourselves,” said Alex Homer, chapter president.
CWU PRSSA has had positive reactions from its members since posting the graphic on its Facebook page.
“This has allowed us to be creative and showcase a skill set not very well advertised by our Chapter in previous years,” said Homer. “The board is especially excited to promote ourselves in new ways to increase our online presence.”
Going into the 2013-2014 year, the Chapter seeks to increase the use and consistency of their social media platforms to connect with more people. CWU PRSSA hopes that creating materials like their recent infographic will show how PRSSA and the public relations industry can benefit those who have creative abilities.
