From the West: Take I-90 eastbound to Ellensburg, exit 106. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto University Way. CWU is located 2.5 miles up University Way on the left. Please reference the Ellensburg parking page for directions to all commencement parking lots.
From the East/South: Take I-90 westbound to Ellensburg, exit 109. Take a right at the light and follow Main Street to University Way. Take a right on University Way. CWU is located .2 miles up University Way on t he left. Please reference the Ellensburg parking page for directions to all commencement parking lots.
Directions to Kent Commencement Ceremony
ShoWare Center (625 West James Street, Kent)
From Seattle: Take I-5 south to exit 149 (Kent/Des Moines Road). Turn left (east) onto the Kent/Des Moines Road. Follow Kent/Des Moines Road east as it becomes Willis St. Turn left onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on James St. The ShoWare Center will be on your right.
From Tacoma: Take I-5 north, exit 149A (Kent/Des Moines Road). Turn right (east) onto the Kent/Des Moines Road. Follow Kent/Des Moines Road east as it becomes Willis St. Turn left onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on James St. The ShoWare Center will be on your right.
From Bellevue/Renton: Take SR 167 (Valley Freeway) southbound, exit at Willis St. Turn left onto Willis St., and then turn left onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on James St. The ShoWare Center will be on your right.
From North Bend: Take I-90 westbound to SR 18. Follow SR 18 to the Covington exit. Turn right onto the Kent-Kangley Road. Follow Kent-Kangley Road and turn left onto SE 256th St. Continue down the hill, which changes into Smith St. Turn right onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on James St. The ShoWare Center will be on your right.
From Puyallup/Auburn: Take SR 167 (Valley Freeway) northbound, exit at Willis St. Turn right onto Willis St., and then turn left onto 4th Ave. From 4th Ave., turn left on James St. The ShoWare Center will be on your right.
