Congratulations on completing your degree program! This website is designed to help your friends, your family, and you celebrate and honor your achievements and to make preparing for graduation easy and exciting. The pages of this site will be updated as information develops about registration, ceremonies, and celebrations. You will be able to plan a visit, learn about the history of CWU Commencements, and even meet our graduates--past and present. You are eligible to participate in our Commencement Ceremony if you have completed a degree in summer or fall 2013, winter 2014, or have applied to graduate spring or summer quarter of 2014. In addition, to participate in Commencement you need to register at www.wildcatshop.net.
Registration will be open March 10 through May 26. Bachelor's candidates should contact Registrar Services to confirm their degree-completion status. Master's candidates should contact the Office of Graduate Studies and Research to check the status of their graduation applications.
Some of your Commencement questions can be answered by visiting http://www.cwu.edu/registrar/graduation-faq
In order to accommodate the great number of graduates and their families and friends, CWU will hold three Commencement Ceremonies:
Tickets are not required for admission. Seating will be available in the Tomlinson Stadium and on additional bleachers adjacent to the grandstand. Seating will not be allowed either on the track or the field. We anticipate a crowd of 5,000 for each of our graduation exercises.
Entrances for persons of disability are located on the north and south ends of the grandstand. Those needing special seating will find it available on the northwest side of the field. Those who are deaf or hard of hearing will be able to view the ASL interpreter on the large screen.
The Music Building Recital Hall will also be open for family and friends with special needs or those who cannot sit outside in the weather (no tickets are necessary). There will be a live video feed from Tomlinson Stadium at the Recital Hall.
