Dr. Martha Kurtz has accepted the position of Associate Dean for Inter-Science Support.  Her principle areas of assigned responsibility are: to plan, implement, coordinate, and manage college-level support of cross-disciplinary efforts with regard to natural, social and computational science initiatives: student recruiting and advising; undergraduate research experiences; outreach to the general public, government agencies, educational institutions, and NGO organizations; faculty professional development; foster awareness of the quality and breadth of science programs at Central; and in securing external funding for transformative programs.  Dr. Kurtz's history includes a high level of student centered interdisciplinary and cross disciplinary coordination and outreach.  These experiences made her an ideal fit for this new position within the college.
