On February 21, 2014, 17 students, 2 Chemistry faculty, and 1 Mathematics faculty came from Yakima Valley Community College (YVCC) for an American Chemical Society (ACS) sponsored Student Club Mixer with CWU. Over 15 CWU students of various science and mathematics clubs, 12 faculty advisors, and researchers welcomed our visitors to campus for an afternoon of transfer and major advising , science and math research opportunities, nerdy club games with prizes, and chemistry demonstrations. The attendees are already looking forward to planning for next year's club mixer with YVCC!
