The Natural Science Seminar Series starts this Fall with a bang!
The CWU Natural Science Seminar Series is sponsored by the CWU Department of Biological Sciences involving bi-weekly informal presentations and discussions. All are welcome!
Dr. Andy Piascek of the CWU Department of Physics, will kick off the series with the first presentation, "Bang! Boom. Puff? The Science of Quiet Supersonic Aircraft" on Friday, October 11th in the Science Building, Room 147. Refreshments are served at 3:50, with the seminar to follow from 4:00-5:00pm.

October 25th: Vince Nethery, CWU Department of Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Sciences, will be speaking on "The Gut--Gatekeeper to Nutrient Availability in High Energy-Demand Endurance Events". Science Building, Room 147, 3:50; 4:00-5:00pm.
November 8th: Anita Showalter, Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences, Yakima will present on "Osteopathic Principles in Women's Health". Science Building, Room 147, 3:50; 4:00-5:00pm.
November 22nd: Karen Roemer, CWU Department of Nutrition, Exercise, and Health Sciences will present on "Optimization of Sports Equipment Based on Human Subjects Experiments and Multi-Body System Modeling." Science Building, Room 147, 3:50; 4:00-5:00pm.

Jeff Charbonneau, a 2000 CWU graduate in biology and an Eastern Washington science teacher today wa
