Join us Tuesday, September 26th for an information session with representatives from GIVE (Growth International Volunteer Excursions) and CWU Continuing Education as we discuss your opportunity to earn credit through a life-changing volunteer experience abroad.
 
Location: SURC Room 137B
Time: 10:00 - 5:30 pm - Presentations on the hour!
 

What is GIVE?

GIVE is a Seattle-based organization that unites international service to meaningful volunteer experiences. Their mission is to empower local communities and awaken volunteers. 

 

What is UNIV 304?

UNIV 304 is a 5 credit course that combines the four domains of sustainable development with your major coursework. The class maximizes your cultural immersion via dialogue circles, self-reflection, and experiential learning while:

  • Building eco-friendly schools with recycled plastic bottles
  • Teaching local children English, health, and sports
  • Contributing to wildlife conservation efforts
