Professional Development Credit
Minimum of 10 lecture type contact hours, 20 field-based hours, or an approved combination is required per credit.
To propose a course for professional development (500) university credit, four forms are required - a Professional Development Course Form, ADA Signature Form, Learner Outcomes and Assessment Form and the syllabus. These forms may be found at the following links:

If you have a great idea for a new program or course you'd like to offer, please complete and submit the new program form below. (Not for use for Professional Development (500) courses). If in doubt, call our office: 509-963-1504.
Any course offered for Professional Development (500) or university credit must be taught by an approved Lecturer.
For faculty who have made previous arrangements with the Continuing Education office to register their students on-site, e.g. on the first day class, this is the form to use.
