Early in his career, Dr. Wagner trained as a microbiologist with special interests in fermentation processes from cheese to beer. Dr. Wagner is the instructor for BIOL 317 Principles of Biochemistry and Brewing. He has taught courses in Biological Fermentation and instructs on the following topics: Genetics, General Biology, Molecular Biotechnology, and Developments in Cellular Biology. He enjoys hoppy Pacific Northwest Ales and clear Northern German Pilsners.

Roger co-founded of The Roslyn Brewing Company, a microbrewery in Roslyn WA, where he was employed from 1990 to 2004. Currently, Mr. Beardsley teaches IET 360 Brew Process Technology as well as classes in thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer in the Mechanical Engineering Technology department at Central Washington University.

Dr. Johnson is an expert in mycology and microbiology. His instructional experience at Central Washington University involves yeast and bacterial biology, as well as, microbiological laboratory techniques. Dr. Johnson teaches BIOL 312 Brewing Microbiology. Dr. Johnson also teaches Mycology, Field Mycology, Plant Pathology, Fundamentals of Biology, Introductory Microbiology, Introduction to Evolution, and General Biology I.

Dwayne has worked in the sales & marketing industry for over 40 years and brings a wealth of real world knowledge. He has worked for large and small firms ranging from Zepak Corporation, Hallmark Cards Inc., and Suncadia Resort. As well, Dwayne is a successful Entrepreneur and began instructing at Central Washington University in 2008. Dwayne is the instructor for RMT 320 Principles of Merchandising Management for Microbreweries. Dwayne loves his wife, three daughters, and craft beer.
