Lynne Harrison is the Coordinator of the Campus-Community Coalition. She has served in that position since its creation in September 2004. As coordinator, she facilitates the work of a broad-based group of community and campus stakeholders committed to reducing problems associated with high-risk and underage drinking, develops work strategies based on best practices in alcohol prevention programs, and assists with the collection and analysis of data on alcohol consumption and program evaluation. She coordinates and teaches Prime for Life, a high-risk alcohol use prevention curriculum, She is trained in cooperative problem solving and is an active and visible volunteer in the community, lending her credibility with community groups. She is on the steering committee for the Washington State College Coalition for Substance Abuse Prevention, is on the Board of directors of the Ellensburg Downtown Association, and is a member ofthe Kittitas County Meth Action Team and former chair and member of the Kittitas County Alcohol/Substance Abuse Advisory Board. Lynne holds a Masters of Arts in Teaching in Guidance and Counseling; her professional experience includes counseling, academic advising, coordinating disability support services, and alumni relations/fundraising.
