The Public Relations Committee serves as the communications vehicle for the CCC by developing clear, consistent messages, providing the "voice" for all committees, and promoting high visibility.
The PR Committee takes the lead on providing education to the campus and community populations regarding the work of the CCC and on ways to reduce underage and high-risk drinking. Through social media, student and local newspaper articles, and radio, the committee works to improve student – community relationships. Monthly guest columns are published in the local newspaper, the Daily Record, regarding alcohol and substance abuse issues; see Guest Column for copies. For other newspaper articles, please see Noteworthy News.
