The Consequences Committee was created in 2005 by the CCC to develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness and consistency of policies, sanctions, and consequences regarding alcohol laws. For its first several years, the committee was chaired with exemplary leadership from the Kittitas County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The gavel was then passed to the prevention coordinator from the Kittitas County Community Network Coalition (KCCNC), who provided consistent and collaborative leadership for this committee. As part of a reorganization of the KCCNC, the work of the Consequences Committee continues under the auspices of the KCCNC.
