This event is open for up to 24 CWU students, free of charge. First priority will be given to students majoring in engineering technology, physics, math, and computer science.  Ride in the vans from Ellensburg or meet us there – Register below by February 12thto attend.

This event is designed to help you learn how PACCAR tests their heavy trucks and related career opportunities within this division of PACCAR.  Learn more here

The overall group size is limited to 24 people with technical skills and interests.  A wait-list will be created after 24 guests register.

The free van transportation is from the CWU-Ellensburg campus.

Event Agenda

9:20 AM – (For Ellensburg students riding in the vans) – Meet near the wildcat statue on the east SURC patio.  The vans will depart at 9:30 AM.  Bathroom break at Snoqualmie Pass. 

12:50 PM – Meet / check-in at the PACCAR Technical Center located at 12479 Farm to Market Road in Mount Vernon. 

1:00 PM – Welcome, introductions, tour facilities (including the test track), learn about STEM applications, Q&A regarding PACCAR jobs and career opportunities.

3:00 PM – Event ends – Vans depart and arrive in Ellensburg by 6:30 PM.
