A Psychology major and our first peer advisor. John says, “I came to Career Services not only because of an interest in career counseling, but because much of that interest was motivated by my own career anxieties, ambivalence, and drive to discover ‘what I wanted to be when I grew up’.” 

In addition to all the peer advising, John created a national award-winning radio commercial for Career Services. John is now a registered nurse at a private psychiatric hospital in Portland, OR. He is currently enrolled at Gonzaga University in the Master of Nursing program. He lives with his wife Kayla, their daughter, and Laney the wonder dog!
