Education: Some college courses, as well as training and development classes through the UW and Central.
Experience: I have worked in a drive-in restaurant, several nursing homes, a shoe company, as a bartender/manager, telemarketing, a program-coordinator for 19 years at the University of Washington and over 5 years in my current position.
Favorite Job: My favorite job (besides this one!) was working at the UW in the Library Administrative Office helping students find jobs within the libraries on campus and doing payroll for over 500 students. This was a wonderful opportunity to connect with some amazing students. I also enjoyed my early work years in the restaurant and nursing homes. I really enjoyed interacting with people.
Least Favorite Job: My least favorite and shortest job was telemarketing. I almost went crazy having to try to talk people into buying something they really didn’t need or could not afford. It was not a job I could do.
About Me: I grew up in the small town of Mayville, WI. In the mid 80's I moved to Seattle, married and started a family. In the 90’s along with my husband and 2 children we moved to Cle Elum, WA. In 2005, we moved to our current home in Kittitas, WA After all these years in Washington, I am still a huge Packer fan! I worked at the University of Washington, in the Libraries Administrative Office, as their Student Employment Coordinator. After working there for 19 years, I transferred to Central in 2005 after moving to Cle Elum. I have been part of the Career Services Team since December of 2005. My biggest joy of my current position is the service and interacting I get to give to our students, faculty and campus staff!
