The purpose of a resume and cover letter is to get you an interview. Creating a powerful resume and 
cover letter which markets your knowledge, skills, abilities, and strengths is absolutely critical in landing 
the position you want in today's job market.

This workshop will address the different resume styles as well as the do's and don'ts" of resumes. You 
will also learn what pertinent information should be on your resume as it relates to the job for which 
you are applying and how to format and design your resume so that it is clear to the employer that 
you have the credentials to do the job.

This workshop will also include how to draft a cover letter and how it works in conjunction with a 
resume in marketing your skills to a potential employer.
