This free career event is limited to 12 students from STEM majors such as Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science and Math.  Ride in the free van sponsored by CWU Career Services or meet us there.

Please note the following:

  • This event is designed to help you learn more about the scientific research that occurs at PNNL and to provide you with career advice related to this type of professional work.
  • The overall group size is limited to 12 people.  A wait-list will be created after 12 guests register.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to attend this event.
  • Due to the limited number of slots, please do not register if you are not sure you can attend.
  • You can meet us there or ride in the free CWU van from Ellensburg.

Event Agenda:

5:50 AM – For students riding in the van, meet near the wildcat statue on the east SURC patio

6 AM - Van Departs

8 AM – Arrive at the PNNL Badging Office – 902 Battelle Blvd in Richland (see PNNL campus map)
8 AM – Noon – Issue visitor badges, welcome, overview, tour different areas of government research
Noon – 1 PM – Lunch with PNNL scientists (bring your own lunch or buy your lunch there) 

1 – 2:30 PM – Discussions related to career opportunities in government research

Depart PNNL by 3 PM and return to Ellensburg by 5 PM
