The mission of the Youth Services Mentoring Program is to empower youth in our community to make positive life choices that enable them to maximize their personal potential. Youth Services Mentoring Program envisions a community in which every youth experiences nurturing one-to-one relationships and community support. This will allow them to develop into their full potential, capable of making informed, responsible decisions as involved members of our community.

The available programs that need volunteers include Lunch Time Mentor K-5, After School Mentor, Mt. Stuart Homework Club Mentor, and Valley View Playground Takeovers.

Mentors must:
• Be at least 18 years old
• Complete a written application
• Pass a rigorous screening process
• Be trained

Transportation not provided.

Visit the CLCE office in SURC 256 to start volunteering. If you have volunteered with the CLCE before, you can sign up for Youth Services Mentor at www.cwu.edu/leadership-engage . For more information, call 509-963-1850 or email clce@cwu.edu (Subject: “ATTN: Youth Services Mentor Volunteer”).
