Winter Quarter Grantwriting Sessions

Research and Sponsored Programs in the School of Graduate Studies and Research is pleased to offer two sessions from its formal training program, The Art and Science of Getting and Managing Grants and three webinars during Winter Quarter 2018. The webinars will be led by Rebecca Huenink, a grants consultant with Hanover Research. The webinars will be recorded and later posted to our Canvas portal (see below). Anyone interested in learning more about grants at CWU is welcome to register.

How to Register: CWU’s Central Learning Academy will facilitate registration and record-keeping for the sessions. To register, log in to MyCWU>> Employee Tab>> Training Folder>> Request Training Enrollment.

Due to increasing federal compliance and regulatory requirements, note that two of these sessions are mandatory in some instances. Both of these courses will be valid for four years.  Compliance Awareness is required for prospective and funded principal investigators and co-principal investigators. Managing Awards is required for funded principal investigators and co-principal investigators.

Grant Training Resources Now Available in Canvas! Research and Sponsored Programs is proud to announce the development of a new secured portal through Canvas for faculty and staff to access training materials and resources. The training materials and resources provided in this portal are for Principal Investigators (PIs) / Co-PIs and other interested faculty and staff who are actively searching for grant funding or for those who currently have grant funding to carry out their research.
