Undergrad Research Journal Looking for Co-Editor

Notice Type:

The International Journal of Undergraduate Research and Creative Activity (IJURCA) is looking for a co-editor. The journal has been established in collaboration between Pacific University and Central Washington University in 2010 and has been managed by volunteer faculty from these two institutions ever since. As our current editor from CWU is leaving, we are looking for a motivated faculty member who is willing to commit to two years to serve as a co-editor. The position requires about 1-2 hours time commitment a week (although this is highly variable). We receive about 20-25 submissions and publish about 10 peer-reviewed articles a year in all disciplines and take submission on a rolling basis. The editors manage the manuscripts: evaluate the submissions if they meet our requirements, find reviewers from the relevant field to provide peer-review, ask for revisions if necessary, make decision about the paper based on the reviews, and do a final copy-edit. IJURCA is an open-access journal and the published papers receive a DOI number. For more information about the journal, please check out our website:
