TODAY: First Friday Leadership Series: Tools for Managing Performance

Greetings Supervisors,

Please attend our upcoming FREE Professional Development Workshop for supervisors! This workshop is titled Tools for Managing Perfomance. This workshop is being presented by Dr. James Avey, Professor of Human Resource Managment.

The Supervisor Enrichment Program (SEP) is comprised of online courses, faculty lectures, and instructor-led workshops geared toward strengthening leadership skills. The program offers strategies and techniques for completing day-to-day supervisory responsibilities as well as growing leaders at all levels. Earn your Supervisor Foundation Certificate by attending these workshops!

Workshop Description:

SEP031: Tools for Managing Perfomance - Friday, December 1st, 2017 10:30 to 11:30 AM, Black Hall, Room 150

Managing the direction, flow and results of performance is a necessary and critical task of any leader. In this workshop Dr. Avey explains the process of managing daily and weekly performance through the use of metrics. At the end of the workshop participants will begin building their own performance metric tool to be used in their teams and communicate team performance to external stakeholders such as directors, customers and other constituents.
