TODAY: Family Literacy Night in the Brooks Library!

Notice Type:

CWU parents of young children:
We have a reading night planned for you and your little ones!

November 7
Brooks Library Rm 288 • 6 - 7pm

Non-traditional CWU students, faculty and staff members with children are encouraged to attend this quarterly event. CWU literacy students read with the children, and juice and popcorn are available for snacking. At the end of the event, children are invited to pick out a free book!

Michelle Cyrus, Program Manager at the CWU Center for Diversity and Social Justice, stated that this event is a great way for young children to learn about what is offered at community libraries. Not only can youngsters check out books, but they can also get involved in social events and special occasions!

This event is organized by CWU literacy minor students, in conjunction with the Brooks Library and the Center for Diversity and Social Justice. For more information, contact Michelle Cyrus at
