DHC director candidate, Dr. Mark Andersen, will be visiting campus today and giving an open forum presentation from 3:30 - 4:30 pm in Black Hall 150. At the forum, he will give a short describe his vision for an effective honors college then open the floor to questions. Dr. Andersen is from New Mexico State University where he teaches in the Department of Fish Wildlife and Conservation Ecology and is the Associate Dean of the university's Honors College.
Following close on his heels, the final candidate for the position, Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim, will be on campus Friday, May 24. His open forum is scheduled for 9:30 - 10:30 am also in Black 150. Dr. Ibrahim teaches in the Department of International Affairs at Qatar University and is the director of the university's Honors Program.
The campus community is encouraged to attend the forums and to meet both of these outstanding candidates.
