Happiness Day is coming to CWU! Don’t miss the fun as the Douglas Honors College creates a positive atmosphere around campus by providing fun and intellectually stimulating activities in the SURC, all for free!
Throughout the day, participants can enjoy henna tattoos, bracelet making, video games and letter writing. The Central Washington Artists United Club will also be on hand to create caricatures from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Don’t miss Dr. Ken Briggs speech on the correlation between positive behavior and happiness at noon, followed by a performance from Jazz Band 3 at 1 p.m. and a pianist at 2 p.m.
The Neuroscience Club will host a showing of the film "Patch Adams" along with a discussion with the Psychology Department faculty at 6 p.m.
Outdoor activities will range from tie dyeing to bocce ball and slacklining and free giveaways will take place all day. Students, staff and the community are all invited to take part and enjoy this day dedicated to happiness!
